Stat. tit. 74, § 74-5029","heading":"Application for county jail improvement funds","body":"The State Department of Health shall approve only those\n\napplications for funds to renovate an existing county jail facility\n\nor to construct a new county jail facility which contain proposed\n\nplans that are in compliance with state-approved jail standards as\n\ndetermined by the Jail Inspection Division, State Department of\n\nHealth. Any jail facility which serves as a combined city and\n\ncounty jail facility shall be eligible to apply for a grant under\n\nthe provisions of this act.\n\nFor each grant of funds by the State Department of Health to a\n\ncounty, the requesting county must legally bind itself to expend on\n\nsaid property funds equal to the amount of funds being applied for\n\nfrom the County Jail Improvement Fund.\n\nNo application for funds available under the provisions of this\n\nact may be filed where the construction of new facilities or the\n\nrenovation of existing facilities has begun by July 1, 1981.\n\nNo applicant may receive more than a total of Two Hundred\n\nThousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the County Jail Improvement Fund\n\nin any one fiscal year.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f4ac4c4e5b3fcda23b8baa3f68bdfb75183588977a3b26475ae3834312364faf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5028","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5030"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
