There is hereby established within the Oklahoma Department\n\nof Commerce the Business License Information Office. The Office\n\nshall be under the direction and supervision of a full-time state\n\nemployee as appointed by the Director of the Department. Additional\n\nstaff sufficient to perform the duties of the Office shall be\n\nprovided under the direction of the Director.\n\nB. The Office shall be a clearinghouse for state business\n\nlicense information and shall perform the following duties:\n\n1. Establish a license information service detailing\n\nrequirements for establishing and engaging in business in this\n\nstate, including state licensing and regulatory requirements, and,\n\nto the extent feasible, local and federal requirements;\n\n2. Provide the most recent forms and information sheets for all\n\nstate business licenses;\n\n3. Prepare, publish, and distribute a complete directory of all\n\nstate licenses required to do business in this state;\n\n4. Make recommendations to agencies and the Legislature for\n\neliminating, consolidating, simplifying, or expediting licenses, or\n\notherwise improving licensing procedures affecting business\n\nundertakings; and\n\n5.
