Fundamental changes have occurred in national and\n\ninternational financial markets and in the financial markets of this\n\nstate. Oklahoma needs to increase the availability of equity and\n\nnear-equity capital for emerging, expanding and restructuring\n\nenterprises in Oklahoma. Such investments will create jobs for\n\nOklahomans and will help to diversify the state's economic base.\n\nB. Any public trust organized pursuant to Title 60 of the\n\nOklahoma Statutes for the benefit of the entire State of Oklahoma,\n\nwhich was created for multiple purposes shall become eligible to be\n\nthe Oklahoma Capital Investment Board as provided by this act. Such\n\ntrust may amend its indenture to encompass the provisions of this\n\nact, and, upon certification by the Governor, such trust shall be\n\nknown as and exercise all the powers of the Oklahoma Capital\n\nInvestment Board as provided by law. After the certification of the\n\ntrust as the Oklahoma Capital Investment Board, the trustees of such\n\ntrust shall become members of the Board of Directors of the Oklahoma\n\nCapital Investment Board as provided for in Section 6 of this act.\n\nThe Oklahoma Capital Investment Board is hereby constituted a public\n\ntrust of the state and the exercise of the Board and powers\n\nconferred by this act shall be deemed and held to be the performance\n\nof essential public purposes.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"06e66804e3aa03596b081a8065a7896992955a1279e1604746526c5846e12fff","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5085.16","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5085.3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
