Stat. tit. 74, § 74-51.2a","heading":"Emergency preparedness grants","body":"Contingent upon the availability of designated funding from the\n\nUnited States Department of Homeland Security or state\n\nappropriations, the Office of Homeland Security shall make grant\n\nmonies available to:\n\n1. Public schools, private schools, technology center schools\n\nand institutions of higher learning in this state to encourage\n\ngreater emergency preparedness including, but not limited to,\n\nimprovement of plans and procedures for natural and man-made\n\ndisasters and emergencies, improvement of security on campus, at\n\nevents, and with regard to buses and other transportation, and\n\nimprovement of communications strategies and equipment; and\n\n2.
