Stat. tit. 74, § 74-581","heading":"Contracts by department or institution with another for","body":"work - Payment - Disposition of proceeds.\n\nThat any department of the state government or any state\n\ninstitution may contract with any other department of state\n\ngovernment or institution having under its control the personal\n\nservices, labor and equipment, machinery or other facilities to\n\nperform needed work for or on behalf of the state or its\n\nsubdivisions, department or institutions, when such work may be\n\nperformed by the use of machinery, equipment, material and/or labor\n\nof the department or institution under its control contracting to\n\nfurnish such service by the use of such facilities of its own, or\n\nthose of any institution of the state under its control. The\n\ndepartment or institution or subdivision obtaining and receiving\n\nsuch services shall pay or otherwise compensate the department or\n\ninstitution performing the work for the fair value thereof,\n\nincluding the cost of material used and proper compensation by\n\npayment or exchange for any personal services, labor, equipment and\n\nmaterial employed in performing such work or services; which said\n\nfunds shall be deposited in a special depository account to be kept\n\nseparately from all other collections and may be expended by the\n\ndepartments, subdivisions or institutions performing the services by\n\nvoucher issued by said department or institution and drawn on the\n\nState Treasurer; provided, however, that when such services are\n\nperformed by any department or institution having a revolving fund,\n\nsuch payments may be credited to and become a part of such revolving\n\nfund.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f1dd8d91d3503d494fa23410ef27dcb46e3fe8bf0d12f317d5a8f5f29fe7665e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-5403","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-582"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
