There is hereby reestablished the Oklahoma-Israel Exchange\n\nCommission, which shall be located in Jerusalem. The Commission\n\nshall consist of nine (9) members, to be appointed as follows:\n\n1. Two persons to be appointed by the Governor;\n\n2. Two persons to be appointed by the Speaker of the Oklahoma\n\nHouse of Representatives;\n\n3. Two persons to be appointed by the President Pro Tempore of\n\nthe Oklahoma State Senate;\n\n4. A person to be appointed by the minority leader of the\n\nOklahoma House of Representatives;\n\n5. A person to be appointed by the minority leader of the\n\nOklahoma State Senate; and\n\n6. A person to be appointed by the Executive Director of the\n\nOklahoma Department of Commerce.\n\nB. The two members selected by the Governor, the Speaker of the\n\nOklahoma House of Representatives, and President Pro Tempore of the\n\nOklahoma State Senate, respectively, shall each be a representative\n\nof either:\n\n1. An Oklahoma public institution of higher learning;\n\n2. The Israeli-American community in Oklahoma who is interested\n\nin furthering trade between Oklahoma and Israel;\n\n3. An Oklahoma industry engaged in or seeking to engage in\n\ntrade with Israel; or\n\n4. An Oklahoma business association, trade organization,\n\neconomic development organization or chamber of commerce currently\n\nengaged in or interested in engaging in the furtherance of trade\n\nwith Israel.\n\nC. Legislative members shall serve for the two-year legislative\n\nsession in which they are appointed to the Commission and shall\n\nremain members of the Legislature in order to retain membership on\n\nthe Commission. Vacancies of legislative members during a term\n\nshall be filled in the same manner as the original appointment only\n\nfor the unexpired part of the term. The appointing authority for a\n\nlegislative member may remove the member and substitute another\n\nappointee for the member at any time. Members may be reappointed.\n\nD. Vacancies shall be filled in the same manner as the original\n\nappointment only for the unexpired part of the term.\n\nE. The appointing authority for the member may remove the\n\nmember and substitute another appointee for the member at any time.\n\nF. The Commission shall hold meetings at least once each\n\nquarter. Meetings shall be held at the call of the chair.\n\nG. A majority of the members of the Commission shall constitute\n\na quorum for the transaction of the business of the Commission.\n\nH. The chair may appoint from among the Commission members\n\nsubcommittees and subcommittee chairs.\n\nI. The Commission shall keep records of all proceedings, which\n\nshall be public and open to inspection.\n\nJ.
