Stat. tit. 74, § 74-588","heading":"Definitions","body":"As used in the Oklahoma Privatization of State Functions Act:\n\n1. \"Agency\" means an agency, board, commission or other entity\n\nof state government;\n\n2. \"Cost analysis\" means a study that includes, but is not\n\nlimited to:\n\na. all direct personnel costs, materials and supplies,\n\nequipment, capital and equipment depreciation costs,\n\nrent, maintenance and repairs, utilities, insurance,\n\ntravel, operations overhead, and general\n\nadministrative overhead associated with privatization\n\nof a function, program, service, unit, or division,\n\nb. a feasibility study determining whether other state\n\nagencies could perform the function, program, service,\n\nunit, or division sought to be privatized,\n\nc. an analysis of the cost savings and quality\n\nenhancements expected to be gained by privatizing, and\n\nd. any other provisions that may be required by rules\n\nadopted by the Office of Management and Enterprise\n\nServices related to privatization;\n\n3. \"Cost analysis report\" means a written report of the cost\n\nanalysis; and\n\n4. \"Privatize\" means to enter into contract for the performance\n\nof a duty or function which is currently being performed by a state\n\nemployee.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"dd7fd324396d11f1def199b18cc9328deba8af9b063ebc1ceb7360a1d830ae3d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-587","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-588.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
