Stat. tit. 74, § 74-62.8","heading":"Acquisition of fire protection equipment or vehicles","body":"The Oklahoma Department of Agriculture, Food, and Forestry shall\n\nbe authorized to acquire equipment or vehicles for the purpose of\n\noffering the equipment or vehicles to fire departments located in\n\nthis state at no cost to the fire departments for use in improving\n\nlocal fire capabilities. Fire departments accepting equipment or\n\nvehicles from the Department shall place the equipment or vehicles\n\ninto operation within a twelve-month period and shall agree to use\n\nthe equipment and vehicles primarily for fire protection purposes.\n\nIn consideration of the economic benefit to be provided to the State\n\nof Oklahoma, its citizens and their property by the continued use of\n\nthe fire protection equipment or vehicles, the Department shall\n\ntransfer title of the equipment or vehicles to the fire departments\n\nonce the equipment or vehicles are placed in operation within the\n\nrequired twelve-month period.
