Stat. tit. 74, § 74-664.1","heading":"Refund of erroneous collections","body":"The Secretary of State may refund any monies received due to an\n\nerroneous collection. As used in this section, “erroneous\n\ncollection” means:\n\n1. A transaction filed by the Office of the Secretary of State\n\nand later found to be improper;\n\n2. A transaction filed with the Office of the Secretary of\n\nState by a customer and the customer, within forty-five (45) days of\n\nthe filing of the transaction, determines the transaction contains a\n\nmistake, corrects the mistake, and requests a refund;\n\n3. A transaction in which the customer requests a refund the\n\nsame day of payment and the customer presents the receipt as\n\nevidence of payment; or\n\n4.
