Stat. tit. 74, § 74-669","heading":"Powers and duties","body":"The Oklahoma Commission on the Status of Women shall have the\n\npower and the duty to:\n\n1. Advise on equity issues relating to gender bias, state\n\nagencies and employees, communities, organizations and businesses of\n\nthis state which desire the services of the Commission;\n\n2. Monitor legislation as to whether the legislation is\n\ndiscriminatory toward one gender or whether the gender of an\n\nindividual would have an effect on the enforcement of the\n\nlegislation;\n\n3. Act as a resource and a clearinghouse for research on issues\n\nrelated to women and gender bias;\n\n4. Conduct meetings and seminars within the state as\n\nappropriate to support the goals and duties of the Commission; and\n\n5. Report to the Governor, the President Pro Tempore of the\n\nSenate and the Speaker of the House of Representatives of its\n\nactivities.
