The Legislature declares that it is in the public interest\n\nto promote public access to compressed natural gas (CNG) fueling\n\nstations in the state.\n\nB. It is the intent of the Legislature to increase the number\n\nof public access CNG fueling stations located along the interstate\n\nhighway system in the state.\n\nC. It shall be the goal to have at least one public CNG fueling\n\nstation located approximately every one hundred (100) miles along\n\nthe entire interstate highway system in the state by the year 2015.\n\nThe goal shall increase to at least one public CNG fueling station\n\napproximately every fifty (50) miles by the year 2025.\n\nD. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services through the\n\nFleet Management Division may take steps to meet the goal set forth\n\nin this section by cooperating with or entering into partnership\n\nagreements with private entities to construct the necessary CNG\n\nfueling stations for use by the public, state agencies and political\n\nsubdivisions of the state.
