Stat. tit. 74, § 74-840-2.15A","heading":"State Employee Compensation Program","body":"There is hereby established the \"State Employee Compensation\n\nProgram\" within the executive branch. The State Employee\n\nCompensation Program will attract, retain and reward quality\n\nemployees with competitive total compensation based on relevant\n\nlabor markets. The Office of Management and Enterprise Services\n\nwill be responsible for coordinating the implementation of the\n\ncompensation program. The compensation program will establish pay\n\nstructures with a goal of compensating state employees at a level of\n\nat least a ninety percent (90%) of compensation for comparable\n\nprivate sector positions. The compensation program will reinforce a\n\nproductive work climate and culture of accountability and make the\n\nState of Oklahoma an employer of choice. Pay structures will be\n\nimplemented with fairness and equity throughout the executive\n\nbranch. Pay delivery mechanisms will be based on a combination of\n\nestablishing and maintaining relativity to market, achievement of\n\nperformance objectives, recognition of differences in job content,\n\nacquisition and application of further skill and education. The\n\nLegislature will be accountable for the funding of the pay\n\nstructures established pursuant to the compensation program.\n\nAdded Laws 2014, c. 390, § 2, eff.
