Stat. tit. 74, § 74-840-2.20A","heading":"Agency closings and reductions in services -","body":"Employee leave or relocation.\n\nA. When an agency of the State of Oklahoma or part of such an\n\nagency is closed because of an imminent peril threatening the public\n\nhealth, safety, or welfare of state employees or the public, the\n\nappointing authority shall place employees who are scheduled to work\n\nin the closed area on paid administrative leave or shall assign them\n\nto work in another location. Employees who are on paid\n\nadministrative leave shall be in standby or on-call status during\n\ntheir normal scheduled duty hours. The appointing authority may\n\ncall such employees to return to their normal duties and work\n\nlocation or respond to the demands of the situation as necessary.\n\nB. When the Governor or a designee of the Governor authorizes\n\nagencies or parts of agencies to maintain basic minimum services\n\nbecause hazardous weather conditions impede or delay the movement of\n\nemployees to and from work, employees responsible for providing such\n\nbasic minimum services shall report to work. Appointing authorities\n\nof agencies shall be responsible for determining essential agency\n\nfunctions and ensuring that employees who staff such functions are\n\nso informed. Leave alternatives for those employees not responsible\n\nfor basic minimum services shall be established by the Director of\n\nthe Office of Management and Enterprise Services.\n\nC. Appointing authorities of affected agencies shall notify the\n\nOffice of Management and Enterprise Services of agency closings and\n\nreductions in services pursuant to this section.\n\nD. The provisions of this section are applicable to agencies\n\nand employees in the executive department of state government,\n\nincluding those on temporary and other limited term appointments.\n\nThe provisions of this section shall not be applicable to employees\n\nof institutions within The Oklahoma State System of Higher\n\nEducation.\n\nE.
