No person in the state service shall be appointed to or\n\ndemoted or dismissed from any position in the state service, or in\n\nany way favored or discriminated against with respect to employment\n\nin the state service because of political or religious opinions or\n\naffiliations, race, creed, gender, color or national origin or by\n\nreason of any physical handicap so long as the physical handicap\n\ndoes not render the employee unable to do the work for which he or\n\nshe is employed. The hiring of special disabled veterans pursuant\n\nto Sections 401 through 404 of Title 72 of the Oklahoma Statutes\n\nshall not constitute favoritism as herein prohibited.\n\nB. No person shall use or promise to use, directly or\n\nindirectly, any official authority or influence, whether possessed\n\nor anticipated, to secure or attempt to secure for any person an\n\nappointment or advantage in appointment to a position or an increase\n\nin pay or other advantage in employment in any such position, for\n\nthe purpose of influencing the vote or political action of any\n\nperson, or for any consideration. Letters of inquiry, recommendation\n\nand reference for public employees by public officials shall not be\n\nconsidered official authority or influence unless such letter\n\ncontains a threat, intimidation, or irrelevant, derogatory or false\n\ninformation.\n\nC. No person shall make any false statement, certificate,\n\nscore, rating or report with regard to any test, certification or\n\nappointment to state service or in any manner commit any fraud\n\nrelated to employment in state service preventing the implementation\n\nof the provisions of law and rules made pursuant thereto.\n\nD. No employee, examiner or other person shall deny, deceive or\n\nobstruct any person in his or her right to examination, eligibility,\n\ncertification or appointment or furnish to any person any special or\n\nsecret information for the purpose of effecting the rights or\n\nprospects of any person with respect to employment in state service.\n\nE. No person shall, directly or indirectly, give, render, pay,\n\noffer, solicit or accept any money, service or other valuable\n\nconsideration for or as a result of any appointment, proposed\n\nappointment, promotion or proposed promotion to or any advantage in,\n\na position in state service.\n\nF.
