To identify the needs of people with disabilities on a\n\ncontinuing basis and to attempt to meet those needs;\n\n2. To serve as a referral and information source for people\n\nwith disabilities seeking services and for agencies seeking\n\nassistance in their provision of services;\n\n3. To generate community awareness and support of programs for\n\npeople with disabilities;\n\n4. To advise and assist the Governor and the Legislature in\n\ndeveloping policies to meet the needs of people with disabilities;\n\nand\n\n5.
