Stat. tit. 74, § 74-9.34","heading":"Gifts, donations, bequests or grants","body":"\n\nThe Office of Disability Concerns shall accept, hold in trust,\n\nand authorize the use of any grant or devise of land, or any\n\ndonations or bequests of money or other personal property made to\n\nthe Office so long as the terms of the grant, donation, bequest or\n\nwill are carried out. The Office may invest and reinvest any funds\n\nand money, lease, or sell any real or personal property, and invest\n\nthe proceeds for the purpose of promoting the well-being of people\n\nwith disabilities unless prohibited by the terms of the grant,\n\ndonation, bequest, gift, or will. If, due to circumstances, the\n\nrequests of the person or persons making the grant, donation,\n\nbequest, gift, or will cannot be carried out, the Office shall have\n\nthe authority to use the remainder thereof for the purposes of this\n\nact. Said funds shall be deposited to the revolving fund to carry\n\nout the provisions of this act. Such gifts, donations, bequests, or\n\ngrants shall be exempt for tax purposes.
