The Oklahoma Public Employees Retirement System may sue and\n\nbe sued in its official name, but its officers, employees, and\n\nagents shall not be personally liable for acts of the System. The\n\nservice of all legal process and of all notices which may be\n\nrequired to be in writing, whether legal proceedings or otherwise,\n\nshall be had on the executive director at his or her office. All\n\nactions or proceedings directly or indirectly against the System\n\nshall be brought in Oklahoma County, including petitions for\n\njudicial review of individual proceedings under the Administrative\n\nProcedures Act despite any other provision to the contrary.\n\nB. 1. Any member or participating employer, or in the case of\n\na deceased member, a joint annuitant or beneficiary, aggrieved by\n\nany order or decision of the System made without a hearing may,\n\nwithin thirty (30) days after notice of the order or decision of the\n\nSystem, make written request to the Oklahoma Public Employees\n\nRetirement System Board of Trustees for a hearing thereon. The\n\nBoard may refer any such request to a hearing examiner to conduct\n\nthe hearing and make recommended findings of fact and conclusions of\n\nlaw to the Board. The Board shall enter final orders in all such\n\nmatters which shall be considered by the Board under the provisions\n\nof the Administrative Procedures Act.\n\n2. Nothing contained in Section 901 et seq. of this title shall\n\nrequire the observance at any hearing of the Board or a hearing\n\nexaminer designated by the Board of formal rules of pleading or\n\nevidence.\n\n3. The Board shall have jurisdiction under the Administrative\n\nProcedures Act relating to any disputes arising from the\n\nadministration of the retirement or savings plans administered by\n\nthe Board, including disputes involving a member, joint annuitant,\n\nbeneficiary or participating employer of the System.\n\n4. Upon written request reasonably made by a person affected by\n\nthe hearing at such person's expense, the Board shall cause a full\n\nstenographic record of the proceedings to be made by a competent\n\ncourt reporter.
