Stat. tit. 74, § 74-9057","heading":"Application to Oklahoma Supreme Court for approval of","body":"bonds.\n\nThe Oklahoma Development Finance Authority may file an\n\napplication with the Oklahoma Supreme Court for the approval of\n\nbonds issued under this act, and exclusive original jurisdiction is\n\nhereby conferred upon the Court to hear and determine each\n\napplication. The Court shall give such an application precedence\n\nover the other business of the Court and consider and pass upon the\n\napplication and any protests which may be filed against such\n\napplication as speedily as possible. Notice of the hearing on each\n\napplication shall be given by notice published in a newspaper of\n\ngeneral circulation in the state that on a day named by the\n\nAuthority will ask the Oklahoma Supreme Court to hear its\n\napplication and approve any bonds issued pursuant to the provisions\n\nof this act. The notice shall inform all persons interested that\n\nthey may file protests against the issuance of the bonds and be\n\npresent at the hearing and contest the legality thereof. The notice\n\nshall be published one time not less than ten (10) days prior to the\n\ndate named for the hearing, and the hearing may be adjourned from\n\ntime to time at the discretion of the Court. If the Court shall be\n\nsatisfied that the bonds or any portions thereof have been properly\n\nauthorized in accordance with this act and the Constitution of the\n\nState of Oklahoma, and that, when issued, they will constitute valid\n\nobligations in accordance with their terms, the Court shall render\n\nits written opinion approving the bonds and shall fix the time\n\nwithin which a petition for rehearing may be filed. The decision of\n\nthe Court shall be a judicial determination of the validity of the\n\nbonds, shall be conclusive as to the Authority, this state, its\n\nofficers, agents and instrumentalities and all other persons, and\n\nthereafter the bonds so approved and the revenues pledged to their\n\npayment shall be incontestable in any court in this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"d21f2cea223d73328425c5f2bd3ec22d860bef58faeec4bec8d9f41693609064","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9056","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9058"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
