Stat. tit. 74, § 74-906","heading":"Board meetings - Quorum - Compensation","body":"(1) The Board shall hold regular meetings in Oklahoma City at\n\nleast once each quarter, the dates, time, and place thereof to be\n\nfixed by the Board. The Board shall hold a regular meeting in July\n\nof each year which meeting shall be the annual meeting and at which\n\nmeeting it shall elect its chair. Special meetings may be called\n\nupon written call of the chair or by agreement of any eight members\n\nof the Board. Notice of a special meeting shall be delivered to all\n\ntrustees in person, by registered or certified United States mail,\n\nor by electronic mail not less than seven (7) days prior to the date\n\nfixed for the meeting; provided, however, that notice of such\n\nmeeting may be waived by any member either before or after such\n\nmeeting and attendance at such meeting shall constitute a waiver of\n\nnotice of such meeting, unless a member participates therein solely\n\nto object to the transaction of any business because the meeting has\n\nnot been legally called or convened.\n\n(2) Eight (8) trustees shall constitute a quorum for the\n\ntransaction of business, but any official action of the Board shall\n\nbe based upon a favorable vote by at least eight (8) trustees at a\n\nregular or special meeting of the Board.\n\n(3) The trustees shall serve the System without compensation\n\nbut shall receive their actual and necessary expenses, subject to\n\nstatutory limitations applying to other state employees, as are\n\nincurred in the performance of their duties, which shall be paid as\n\nan operating expense from the appropriate operating fund of the\n\nSystem.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"dd470690fdb0eaa86b6b501bc1b31f22ff82965f1c94eaa57bbc1daf390ff567","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9059","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9060"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
