Stat. tit. 74, § 74-909","heading":"Policies and rules for general administration","body":"(1) The Board of Trustees shall be responsible for the policies\n\nand rules for the general administration of the system, subject to\n\nthe provisions of this act.\n\n(2) The Board shall establish rules and regulations for the\n\nadministration of the system and for the transaction of its business\n\nconsistent with law, which rules and regulations shall be filed in\n\nthe office of the Secretary of State.\n\n(3) The Board shall be responsible for the installation or\n\nprovision of a complete and adequate system of accounts and records.\n\n(4) All meetings of the Board shall be open to the public. The\n\nBoard shall keep a record of its proceedings.\n\n(5) The Board shall prescribe rules for the determination of\n\nthe value of maintenance, board, lodging, laundry, and other\n\nallowances to employees in lieu of money and shall determine which\n\nforms or types of compensation shall be included for retirement\n\npurposes.\n\n(6) The Board may adopt all necessary actuarial tables to be\n\nused in the operation of the system as recommended by the actuary\n\nand may compile such additional data as may be necessary for\n\nrequired actuarial valuation calculations.\n\n(7) The Board, as soon after the close of the fiscal year as\n\npractical, shall publish for distribution among members a financial\n\nstatement showing the financial status of the system.\n\n(8) All decisions of the Board as to questions of fact shall be\n\nfinal and conclusive on all persons except for the right of review\n\nas provided by law and except for fraud or such gross mistake of\n\nfact as to have effect equivalent to fraud.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"f83d55af89823236c32e0baa66539a5ff9a557f0124297d399baef5bb999f301","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9082","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-909.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
