Stat. tit. 74, § 74-913e","heading":"Purchase of service credit","body":"Notwithstanding any other provision of law to the contrary, the\n\nspouse of a person who initially became a member of the system in\n\nJanuary 1999, and such member dies within one month of meeting the\n\nrequired six (6) years of full-time-equivalent employment with a\n\nparticipating employer for normal retirement purposes, shall be\n\nallowed to elect to purchase at the actuarial cost of up to one\n\nmonth of service to meet the six (6) years of full-time employment.\n\nThe election pursuant to this section shall be made on or before\n\nSeptember 1, 2005, and payment shall be made to the Oklahoma Public\n\nEmployees Retirement System on or before December 31, 2005.
