Stat. tit. 74, § 74-9207","heading":"Transfer of programs, personnel and assets from other","body":"government entities.\n\nA. By December 31, 2022, the Executive Director of the Oklahoma\n\nBroadband Office shall identify all programs, personnel, and assets\n\nwithin state government that are duplicative or complementary to the\n\nmission of the Office and of such recommend which programs,\n\npersonnel, and assets the Executive Director identifies as needing\n\nto be transferred to the Office, except as provided in subsections C\n\nand D of this section.\n\nB. Upon the receipt of the recommendation provided for in\n\nsubsection A of this section, the Director of the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services is authorized to transfer such\n\nprograms, personnel, and assets to the Office.\n\nC. The following shall be exempt from the provisions of\n\nsubsections A and B of this section:\n\n1. Those assets or personnel associated with broadband and\n\nInternet connectivity at the Corporation Commission;\n\n2. Those assets or personnel associated with the Oklahoma\n\nUniversal Service Fund located at the Corporation Commission; and\n\n3. Assets owned by the Department of Transportation and the\n\nOklahoma Turnpike Authority and the staff required to operate said\n\nassets.\n\nD. Programs, personnel, and assets of the Oklahoma State\n\nRegents for Higher Education, identified by the Executive Director\n\nas duplicative or complementary to the mission of the Office, shall\n\nbe made available as agreed to in contracts between the Office and\n\nthe Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education following a\n\nrecommendation by the Executive Director to the Oklahoma State\n\nRegents for Higher Education. Should the Office and the Oklahoma\n\nState Regents for Higher Education fail to reach contractual\n\nagreements within ninety (90) days of the Executive Director’s\n\nrecommendation, the Executive Director shall provide written\n\nnotification of a failure to reach contractual agreement to the\n\nBroadband Governing Board, the Speaker of the House of\n\nRepresentatives, and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate.","path":["OK Code","Title 74"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os74.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0e5e94459ba69f8b59b05b84b5c4b1f69a4dfb9855ca1cbd5224167760410323","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9206","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-74-74-9208"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
