Stat. tit. 75, § 75-26.14","heading":"Referring of bills upon convening of session -","body":"Introduction and reading.\n\nImmediately upon the convening of each regular session of the\n\nLegislature, the Secretary of the Senate and the Chief Clerk of the\n\nHouse of Representatives shall refer all prefiled bills and\n\nresolutions to the respective presiding officers of the two (2)\n\nhouses of the Legislature. All bills and resolutions prefiled, in\n\naccordance herewith, shall, prior to the introduction of bills and\n\nresolutions, be placed immediately upon first reading in the same\n\nmanner as bills and resolutions introduced after the convening of\n\nthe Legislature.
