Except as provided in subsection B of this section, an\n\nowner, employee, participant, member, guest or customer of a gun\n\nrange, gun shop or gun club, who is acting in good faith and\n\npursuant to the standards of the firearm industry and the duty of\n\ncare under common law and gun club rules, if applicable, shall not\n\nbe liable for injuries to any person engaged in firearm activities\n\non the premises of such range, shop or club when such injuries\n\nresult from the inherent risks of such activities.\n\nB. 1. The provisions of this section shall not apply to\n\nemployees in the performance of their duties who are covered by or\n\nsubject to the provisions of the workers’ compensation laws of Title\n\n85 of the Oklahoma Statutes.\n\n2. Nothing in subsection A of this section shall prevent or\n\nlimit the liability of an owner, employee, participant, member or\n\ncustomer, if such person:\n\na. commits an act or omission that constitutes willful or\n\nwanton disregard for the safety of any person engaged\n\nin firearm activities, and that act or omission caused\n\nthe injury, or\n\nb. intentionally injures a person engaged in firearm\n\nactivities.","path":["OK Code","Title 76"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os76.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"903aa5b3efe404603a75d623b10737f6ee6f292e21e3ef1757393a6110850b34","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-76-76-50.4","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-76-76-51.1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
