Stat. tit. 78, § 78-29","heading":"Classification","body":"The following general classes of goods and services are\n\nestablished for convenience of administration of this act, but not\n\nto limit or extend the applicant's or registrant's rights, and a\n\nsingle application for registration of a trademark may include any\n\nor all goods upon which or services with which the trademark is\n\nactually being used indicating the appropriate class or classes of\n\ngoods or services. When a single application includes goods or\n\nservices which fall within multiple classes, the Secretary of State\n\nshall require payment of a fee for each class.\n\nThe said classes are as follows:\n\n(a) Goods\n\n1. Raw or partly prepared materials\n\n2. Receptacles\n\n3. Baggage, animal equipments, portfolios, and\n\npocketbooks\n\n4. Abrasives and polishing materials\n\n5. Adhesives\n\n6. Chemicals and chemical compositions\n\n7. Cordage\n\n8. Smokers' articles, not including tobacco products\n\n9. Explosives, firearms, equipments, and projectiles\n\n10. Fertilizers\n\n11. Inks and inking materials\n\n12. Construction materials\n\n13. Hardware and plumbing and steamfitting supplies\n\n14. Metals and metal castings and forgings\n\n15. Oils and greases\n\n16. Paints and painters' materials\n\n17. Tobacco products\n\n18. Medicines and pharmaceutical preparations\n\n19. Vehicles\n\n20. Linoleum and oiled cloth\n\n21. Electrical apparatus, machines, and supplies\n\n22. Games, toys, and sporting goods\n\n23. Cutlery, machinery, and tools, and parts thereof\n\n24. Laundry appliances and machines\n\n25. Locks and safes\n\n26. Measuring and scientific appliances\n\n27. Horological instruments\n\n28. Jewelry and precious metalware\n\n29. Brooms, brushes, and dusters\n\n30. Crockery, earthenware, and porcelain\n\n31. Filters and refrigerators\n\n32. Furniture and upholstery\n\n33. Glassware\n\n34. Heating, lighting, and ventilating apparatus\n\n35. Belting, hose, machinery packing, and nonmetallic\n\ntires\n\n36. Musical instruments and supplies\n\n37. Paper and stationery\n\n38. Prints and publications\n\n39. Clothing\n\n40. Fancy goods, furnishings, and notions\n\n41. Canes, parasols, and umbrellas\n\n42. Knitted, netted and textile fabrics, and substitutes\n\ntherefor\n\n43. Thread and yarn\n\n44. Dental, medical, and surgical appliances\n\n45. Soft drinks and carbonated waters\n\n46. Foods and ingredients of foods\n\n47. Merchandise not otherwise classified\n\n48. Cosmetics and toilet preparations\n\n49. Detergents and soaps\n\n(b) Services\n\n100. Miscellaneous\n\n101. Advertising and business\n\n102. Insurance and financial\n\n103. Construction and repair\n\n104. Communication\n\n105. Transportation and storage\n\n106. Material treatment\n\n107.
