Stat. tit. 78, § 78-82","heading":"Substitutes and mixtures not to be labeled as honey","body":"(a) No person shall sell, keep for sale, expose or offer for\n\nsale, any article or product in imitation or semblance of honey\n\nbranded as \"honey\", \"liquid or extracted honey\", \"strained honey\" or\n\n\"pure honey\" which is not pure honey.\n\n(b) No person, firm, association, company or corporation shall\n\nmanufacture, sell, expose or offer for sale, any compound or mixture\n\nbranded or labeled as and for honey which shall be made up of honey\n\nmixed with any other substance or ingredient.\n\n(c) Whenever honey is mixed with any other substance or\n\ningredient and the commodity is to be marketed, there shall be\n\nprinted on the package containing such compound or mixture a\n\nstatement giving the ingredients of which it is made; if honey is\n\none of such ingredients it shall be so stated in the same size type\n\nas are the other ingredients, but it shall not be sold, exposed for\n\nsale, or offered for sale as honey; nor shall such compound or\n\nmixture be branded or labeled with the word \"honey\" in any form\n\nother than as herein provided; nor shall any product in semblance of\n\nhoney, whether a mixture or not, be sold, exposed or offered for\n\nsale as honey, or branded or labeled with the word \"honey\", unless\n\nsuch article is pure honey.","path":["OK Code","Title 78"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os78.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"47b2dde47a2689bfd0cf703ae1b61745cb1c040fcddd9b6db05b37cff6b9d52c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-78-78-81","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-78-78-83"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
