Except to the extent that a material and prejudicial change\n\nof position prior to acquiring knowledge or reason to know of\n\nmisappropriation renders a monetary recovery inequitable, a\n\ncomplainant is entitled to recover damages for misappropriation.\n\nDamages can include both the actual loss caused by misappropriation\n\nand the unjust enrichment caused by misappropriation that is not\n\ntaken into account in computing actual loss. In lieu of damages\n\nmeasured by any other methods, the damages caused by\n\nmisappropriation may be measured by imposition of liability for a\n\nreasonable royalty for a misappropriator's unauthorized disclosure\n\nor use of a trade secret.\n\nB.
