Stat. tit. 8, § 8-13","heading":"Superintendent - Duties - Election - Term - Eligibility -","body":"Supervision and control - Salary.\n\nIn addition to the other officers of such corporation, it shall\n\nhave an officer, known as its superintendent, whose duty it shall be\n\nto care for and protect the grounds of such cemetery and its\n\nappurtenances, and to enforce its bylaws, in relation to its\n\ngrounds, and to superintend the making of repairs and the\n\nconstruction of improvements and the maintenance of all permanent\n\nimprovements, or embellishments of every kind, which tends to\n\nbeautify such cemetery or render it convenient for such use, or\n\npreserve it permanently as a burying ground for the dead. Such\n\nsuperintendent shall be elected at the same time the other officers\n\nof such corporation are elected, and shall hold his office for the\n\nsame length of time as the president thereof, and shall be the owner\n\nof at least one lot in the cemetery, and shall be under the direct\n\nsupervision, and control of the board of directors.
