Stat. tit. 8, § 8-207","heading":"Licenses","body":"(a) No burial association shall transact any business until the\n\nBoard has issued a formal license authorizing it to do so, which\n\nlicense shall not issue until it is satisfied that the association\n\nhas complied with the provisions of this act. Licenses issued to\n\nsuch association shall authorize the association to do business in\n\nthis state until the last day of June following the date of issuance\n\nof the license, and the license may be renewed by the Board annually\n\nthereafter, unless sooner suspended, revoked, or renewal refused;\n\nprovided, however, that any license shall continue in full force and\n\neffect until a new license be issued or specifically refused.\n\n(b) The Board shall not suspend, revoke, or refuse to renew a\n\nlicense issued to any burial association unless, after a hearing\n\nheld, it finds that one of the grounds specified in Section 15 of\n\nthis act exists as to such association. Before the Board shall\n\nsuspend, revoke, or refuse to issue or renew any license it shall\n\nissue a show cause order to such association stating specifically,\n\nthe nature of the alleged violations, and fixing a time and place,\n\nat least ten (10) days thereafter, when a hearing of the matter\n\nshall be held. After such hearing, or upon failure of the\n\nassociation to make an appearance, the Board shall render its\n\nfindings, decision and order in writing. After the Board has\n\nrendered its findings, decision and order, any party aggrieved may\n\nappeal within twenty (20) days to the district court of Oklahoma\n\ncounty by filing with the clerk of said court a petition in error\n\ntogether with a certified copy of the proceedings of the Board in\n\nsuch matter. If the appeal is from an order of the Board, such\n\norder shall not take effect during the pendency of the appeal unless\n\nthe court shall determine otherwise.
