Stat. tit. 8, § 8-213","heading":"Discrimination","body":"Discrimination between members of the same class in the amount\n\nof assessments, dues, and fees charged for or on any agreement, or\n\nin any benefits payable thereon, or in any of the terms or\n\nconditions of such agreement, or in any manner whatsoever is\n\nprohibited. This Act shall not prohibit different assessments,\n\ndues, fees or benefits for individuals insured under different plans\n\nat different times. No association and no director, trustee,\n\nofficer, agent, employee, solicitor or other representative thereof\n\nshall pay, allow or give, or offer to pay, allow or give directly or\n\nindirectly, as an inducement to insure any rebate of the assessment,\n\ndues or fees payable on the agreement, or any special favor or\n\nadvantage in the benefits to accrue thereon not specified in the\n\nagreement or any paid employment contract for services of any kind\n\nor any valuable consideration or inducement whatever; provided\n\nhowever, nothing herein shall prohibit a burial association or any\n\nagent thereof in connection with the sale of an agreement from\n\ntruthfully advertising or stating the advantages of a funeral\n\nservice rendered by a designated funeral home.","path":["OK Code","Title 8"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os8.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"c6fe32ac480744e5511c5fea84ad6914271b836a9c65c00f4ce235ee894096f8","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-8-8-212","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-8-8-214"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
