Stat. tit. 8, § 8-227","heading":"Application of law to existing associations","body":"\n\n(a) The provisions of this Act shall apply to every burial\n\nassociation, corporation, partnership or person now engaged in the\n\nbusiness of burial insurance or that hereafter engages in the\n\nbusiness of burial insurance, which have not been issued a license\n\nto do business in the State by the Insurance Commissioner or the\n\nState Fraternal Board.\n\n(b) Every such burial association doing business in this state\n\non the operative date of this Act shall within thirty (30) days\n\nthereafter comply with the provisions of this Act as a condition\n\nprecedent to the continuation of doing business in this state.","path":["OK Code","Title 8"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os8.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"8d94773ff217781c7de81c692b6b9710708a10dc64152e50f3217131f355605a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-8-8-226","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-8-8-228"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
