Stat. tit. 80, § 80-34.1","heading":"Authority to purchase, lease or receive as gift -","body":"Competitive bidding not required.\n\nThis state, its departments, boards, commission, institutions,\n\nand state agencies, political subdivisions, and school districts of\n\nthe state may purchase, lease, or receive as gifts or donations, any\n\nsurplus property offered for sale, lease, or donation by the United\n\nStates Government or any of the agencies thereof, pursuant to the\n\napplicable provisions of the \"Surplus Property Act of 1944\", or\n\namendments thereto, or any act providing for the disposal of surplus\n\nproperty enacted by the Congress of the United States.
