Stat. tit. 80, § 80-34.6","heading":"State Surplus Property Revolving Fund","body":"There is hereby created in the State Treasury a revolving fund\n\nto be designated as the \"State Surplus Property Revolving Fund\"\n\nwhich shall consist of all monies appropriated thereto by the\n\nLegislature and all monies received by the Surplus Property Agent\n\nfrom state departments, boards, commissions, institutions, and\n\nagencies and from counties, cities, and towns, and school districts\n\nand other authorized program participants as a reimbursement to the\n\nstate of monies spent in acquiring surplus property for such\n\nentities, and for services to the entities. The State Surplus\n\nProperty Revolving Fund shall be a continuing fund, not subject to\n\nfiscal year limitations, and shall be expended by the Surplus\n\nProperty Agent, under the supervision of the Director of the Office\n\nof Management and Enterprise Services, for any expense incurred in\n\nthe handling, transportation, warehousing, distribution of surplus\n\nproperty received by purchase or donation, including the purchase of\n\ntrucks and equipment, the salary of the Surplus Property Agent and\n\nother employees' salaries, other necessary expenses incurred in\n\nprogram administration and operation and expenses the Office of\n\nManagement and Enterprise Services incurs to support program\n\noperations. Expenditures shall be made from the fund on claims\n\nsigned by the Surplus Property Agent and approved for payment by the\n\nDirector of the Office of Management and Enterprise Services.\n\nExcess funds above the operational needs may be invested in any of\n\nthe types of instruments in which the State Treasurer is authorized\n\nby law to invest.
