Stat. tit. 82, § 82-105.1","heading":"Definitions","body":"\n\nAs used in Sections 105.2 through 105.32 of this title:\n\n1. \"Definite stream\" means a watercourse in a definite, natural\n\nchannel, with defined beds and banks, originating from a definite\n\nsource or sources of supply. The stream may flow intermittently or\n\nat irregular intervals if that is characteristic of the sources of\n\nsupply in the area;\n\n2. \"Domestic use\" means the use of water by a natural\n\nindividual or by a family or household for household purposes, for\n\nfarm and domestic animals up to the normal grazing capacity of the\n\nland and for the irrigation of land not exceeding a total of three\n\n(3) acres in area for the growing of gardens, orchards and lawns,\n\nand for such other purposes, specified by Board rules, for which de\n\nminimis amounts are used;\n\n3. \"Regular permit\" means a permit granted by the Oklahoma\n\nWater Resources Board authorizing the holder to appropriate water on\n\na year-round basis in an amount and from a source approved by the\n\nBoard;\n\n4. \"Seasonal permit\" means a permit granted by the Board\n\nauthorizing the holder of such permit to divert available water for\n\nspecified time periods during the calendar year;\n\n5. \"Temporary permit\" means a permit granted by the Board\n\nauthorizing the appropriation of water in an amount and from a\n\nsource approved by the Board which does not exceed a time period of\n\nthree (3) months, which does not vest in the holder any permanent\n\nright and which may be canceled by the Board in accordance with its\n\nterms;\n\n6. \"Term permit\" means a permit granted by the Board\n\nauthorizing the appropriation of water in an amount and from a\n\nsource approved by the Board for a term of years which does not vest\n\nthe holder with any permanent right and which expires upon\n\nexpiration of the term of the permit; and\n\n7. \"Provisional temporary permit\" means a permit which may be\n\nsummarily granted upon administrative approval by the Executive\n\nDirector of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and which authorizes\n\nan appropriation of water in an amount and from a source approved by\n\nthe Executive Director. A provisional temporary permit shall\n\nauthorize an appropriation for a period of time not exceeding ninety\n\n(90) days, shall not vest in the holder any permanent water right\n\nand shall be subject to cancellation by the Board at any time within\n\nits term in accordance with its provisions.
