Stat. tit. 82, § 82-1085.18","heading":"Commission created - Status - Membership - Expenses","body":"There is hereby created a body corporate and politic to be known\n\nas the Water Conservation Storage Commission which may sue and be\n\nsued and plead and be impleaded. The Commission, where necessary to\n\npromote the optimum development and utilization of reservoir sites,\n\nshall have the power to acquire by purchase, gift, devise or eminent\n\ndomain land and interests in land except mineral interests. The\n\nCommission is hereby constituted an instrumentality of the State of\n\nOklahoma, and exercise by the Commission of the powers conferred by\n\nthis act shall be deemed and shall be held to be an essential\n\ngovernmental function of the State of Oklahoma. The Commission shall\n\nbe composed of the members of the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and\n\nthe officers of said Oklahoma Water Resources Board shall be the\n\nofficers of the Commission. The duties assigned to each member of\n\nthe Commission by the provisions of this act shall be considered\n\nadditional duties to those required by virtue of their membership on\n\nthe Oklahoma Water Resources Board, and they shall not receive any\n\nadditional compensation for the performance of the duties required\n\nby this act, except that they shall be entitled to their actual\n\nexpenses incurred, and reimbursement for such expenses shall be paid\n\nout of the funds available for the operation of their department, on\n\nthe same basis as now provided by law.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"546cae7247b195b62d923f718bb9019233bc68802f65b898fef720e3e3d35499","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-1085.17","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-1085.19"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
