Stat. tit. 82, § 82-1085.37","heading":"Certification of investment certificate proceedings","body":"and sale.\n\nWithin ten (10) days of receipt of the transcript of proceedings\n\non said investment certificates, the Attorney General of Oklahoma\n\nshall examine and approve or disapprove all of the proceedings of\n\nthe Board and all resolutions passed and actions taken by it in\n\nconnection with the authorization, issuance and sale of such\n\ninvestment certificates and shall, if he finds such investment\n\ncertificate proceedings and sale to be constitutional and lawful,\n\nexecute his certificate and file the same of record in the office of\n\nthe Secretary of State of Oklahoma, which said certificate shall\n\nread substantially as follows:\n\nI have examined all proceedings had in connection with the\n\nissuance of the Water Resources Investment Certificates in the\n\naggregate principal amount of $___________, dated ________,\n\nauthorized and sold pursuant to ____________, and find said\n\nproceedings and sale to be constitutional, lawful and regular in all\n\nparticulars and that said investment certificates will be valid\n\nobligations of the Water Resources Board. Unless suit thereon shall\n\nbe brought in the Supreme Court of Oklahoma within thirty (30) days\n\nfrom the date of this certificate, said investment certificates\n\nshall be incontestable for all purposes.\n\n_____________________ ________________________________\n\nDate Attorney General of Oklahoma\n\nUpon the filing of such certificate, investment certificates\n\nissued pursuant to proceedings so examined by the Attorney General\n\nshall be incontestable for all purposes upon the expiration of\n\nthirty (30) days from the date of such certificate, unless suit be\n\nbrought in the Supreme Court of Oklahoma prior to the expiration of\n\nsaid period. A facsimile of such Attorney General's certificate\n\nshall appear on each investment certificate so issued. Failure of\n\nthe Attorney General to approve or otherwise act upon such\n\nproceedings as required herein shall, for all purposes, be deemed an\n\napproval of such proceedings and a waiver of the requirement for his\n\ncertification. In the absence of an express certification, the\n\nthirty-day period for the filing of suit in the Supreme Court of\n\nOklahoma shall commence upon the eleventh day following receipt of\n\nthe transcript of proceedings in the office of the Attorney General.\n\nThe Supreme Court of Oklahoma is hereby vested with exclusive\n\njurisdiction over any litigation involving the validity of any\n\ninvestment certificates issued under the provisions of Section\n\n1085.33 of this title.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"638f8441e22142ffbc000ed8b80a86dce71d10eaf654fcaf02345d9877f869c6","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-1085.36","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-1085.38"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
