Stat. tit. 82, § 82-1085.72","heading":"Definitions","body":"For the purposes of this act:\n\n1. \"Drinking water treatment project\" means:\n\na. any engineering undertaking or work to control or\n\ndevelop drinking water treatment facilities of\n\neligible entities for all useful and lawful purposes,\n\nb. any system necessary to improve or develop drinking\n\nwater supply, treatment or distribution capabilities,\n\nor\n\nc. any implementation of water source protection programs\n\nas authorized by the federal Safe Drinking Water Act\n\nand this act;\n\n2. \"Investment certificate\" means any note or bond, including\n\nany renewal note or refunding bond, authorized and issued by the\n\nBoard pursuant to the provisions of this act;\n\n3. \"Eligible entity\" means any city, town, county or the State\n\nof Oklahoma, and any rural water district, public trust, master\n\nconservancy district, any other political subdivision or any\n\ncombination thereof;\n\n4. \"Board\" means the Oklahoma Water Resources Board;\n\n5. \"Department\" means the Department of Environmental Quality;\n\nand\n\n6. \"Safe Drinking Water Act\" means the federal Safe Drinking\n\nWater Act as exists on the effective date of this act, as may be\n\namended, or any successor statute.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"eae0a07e6dcd3371fe32c905051ddd52ea0f65241c02d522d194fe3f72a4664d","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-1085.71","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-1085.73"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
