Stat. tit. 82, § 82-1324.15","heading":"Hearing on annexation petition","body":"At the time and place set for the hearing and consideration of\n\nthe petition, the board of county commissioners shall ascertain\n\nwhether proper notice has been given and whether the statements\n\ncontained in the petition are true. If true, and if a majority of\n\nthe members of the Board of the district to which annexation is\n\ndesired do not object to such statement, the board of county\n\ncommissioners shall enter into its minutes such findings and shall\n\nset forth in said minutes a description of the new boundaries of\n\nsuch district. Thereafter, owners of land located within the\n\nannexed territory shall be entitled to subscribe to such benefit\n\nunits upon such terms and conditions as the board in its discretion\n\nmay provide.
