Stat. tit. 82, § 82-1324.20","heading":"Dissolution of district - Disposition of facilities","body":"and property.\n\nWhenever a district owning facilities and property desires to\n\ndispose of such facilities and property and become dissolved, the\n\nboard of directors may adopt a resolution setting forth the proposed\n\nplan and, upon such plan being approved by three-fourths (3/4) of\n\nthe participating members in a meeting called for that purpose, such\n\nresolution and plan may be submitted to the board of county\n\ncommissioners. If approved by the commissioners, the commissioners\n\nshall thereupon authorize the board of directors to carry through\n\nsaid plan to dissolve and shall further authorize the board of\n\ndirectors to wind up the affairs of the district, pay all debts and\n\nexpenses and to dispose of any property owned by the district and\n\nfor the apportionment of the proceeds thereof together with any\n\nother monies belonging to the district to an adjoining rural water\n\ndistrict or to any other political subdivision of the state. No\n\nmoney, property or the proceeds thereof shall be distributed to any\n\nprivate interests.
