A county floodplain board shall be composed of five (5)\n\nmembers to be appointed by the board of county commissioners.\n\n2. All the members of the board shall be residents of the\n\ncounty and shall own or operate real property within the\n\nunincorporated area of the county.\n\n3. Two members shall be appointed for terms of two (2) years,\n\ntwo members shall be appointed for terms of four (4) years and one\n\nmember shall be appointed for a term of six (6) years. Thereafter,\n\nall appointments shall be made for terms of six (6) years.\n\n4. All members shall serve without compensation. Members may\n\nbe removed by the board of county commissioners for cause after a\n\npublic hearing for that purpose.\n\n5. Vacancies shall be filled by additional appointments for the\n\nunexpired term only.\n\nB. 1. A municipal floodplain board shall be composed of five\n\n(5) members to be appointed by the municipal governing body. All\n\nthe members of the board shall be residents of the municipality.\n\n2. Membership of floodplain boards in existence prior to the\n\neffective date of this act shall remain as currently constituted.\n\nMembership for boards created subsequent to the effective date of\n\nthis act shall consist of two members appointed for terms of two (2)\n\nyears, two members appointed for terms of four (4) years and one\n\nmember appointed for a term of six (6) years. Thereafter, all\n\nappointments shall be made for terms of six (6) years.\n\n3. All members shall serve without compensation.\n\n4. Members may be removed by the municipal governing body for\n\ncause after a public hearing for that purpose.\n\n5. Vacancies shall be filled by additional appointments for the\n\nunexpired term only.\n\nC. A state floodplain board shall be composed of the members of\n\nthe Oklahoma Water Resources Board.
