Stat. tit. 82, § 82-1801.2","heading":"Weather Modification Division – Director - Powers","body":"There is hereby created in the Oklahoma Water Resources Board a\n\ndivision to administer the provisions of the Oklahoma Weather\n\nModification Act. The Oklahoma Weather Modification Advisory Board,\n\ncreated pursuant to this act, shall be authorized to employ a\n\nDirector of the Weather Modification Division. In addition to the\n\nDirector, the Oklahoma Weather Modification Advisory Board is\n\nauthorized to employ one full-time-equivalent employee to implement\n\nthe provisions of this act. Funding for such positions shall be\n\nprovided by the proceeds of the account created pursuant to\n\nsubsection F of Section 4 of this act. The Director of the Weather\n\nModification Division shall be authorized to contract with\n\nindividuals or entities experienced with cloud-seeding operations in\n\norder to increase beneficial rainfall when needed and appropriate\n\ncloud formations are available, and to suppress hail in order to\n\nprevent property and crop damages.
