A municipality may become an elector in the district by\n\naction of the council or trustees in execution of the petition by\n\nthe mayor or chairman and attestation by the clerk. The mayor or\n\nchairman may cast one vote on behalf of such municipality in all\n\ndistrict elections and shall agree to pay an amount equal to the\n\nassessments against lands owned or held in trust by such\n\nmunicipality. Membership by such municipality shall not prevent\n\nresidents therein who are qualified pursuant to the provisions of\n\nthe Oklahoma Irrigation District Act from being electors of the\n\ndistrict.\n\nB. A corporation may become an elector in the district by\n\naction of its board of directors and execution of the petition by\n\nits president and chairman and attestation by its secretary-\n\ntreasurer. The president or chairman may cast one vote on behalf of\n\nsuch corporation in all district elections and shall agree to pay an\n\namount equal to the assessments against lands owned or held in trust\n\nby such corporations.\n\nC.
