Stat. tit. 82, § 82-503","heading":"Hearing on petition - Order for formation of district","body":"Upon the hearing had upon any such petition filed as hereinabove\n\nset out, if it shall appear to the court that the purposes of\n\nChapter 70, Article 5, Oklahoma Statutes of 1931, as amended by\n\nHouse Bill No. 84, Of the Fifteenth Legislature, will be best served\n\nby the creation of the conservancy district and the owners of a\n\nmajority of the area of land in the proposed district have not filed\n\nwritten protest against the formation of such district, the court\n\nshall, by its findings duly entered of record, adjudicate all\n\nquestions of jurisdiction and declare the districts organized,\n\ngiving it a name or number in its discretion, by which it shall be\n\nknown in all proceedings; provided, that no assessment for benefits\n\nshall be levied by a conservancy district created under this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"61b40add99997a4fa018d9f2f0c6628a321373f5269b03eea9cbbccf7718f6ed","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-502","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-504"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
