Stat. tit. 82, § 82-576","heading":"Cooperation with federal government or other agencies -","body":"Outlets in other states.\n\nThe board of directors shall also have the right and authority\n\nto enter into contracts or other arrangements with the United States\n\nGovernment or any department thereof, with persons, railroad or\n\nother corporations, with public corporations, cities and towns, and\n\nthe state government of this or other states with drainage\n\nconservation, conservancy, or other improvement districts, in this\n\nor other states, for cooperation or assistance in constructing,\n\nmaintaining, using and operating the works of the district or the\n\nwaters thereof, not in violation of Article VI of the Constitution\n\nor for making surveys and investigations or reports; and may\n\npurchase, lease or otherwise acquire land or other property in\n\nadjoining states in order to secure outlets or spend money for\n\nsecuring such outlets or reservoirs or other works in adjoining\n\nstates, and the Governor of the State of Oklahoma is hereby\n\nauthorized to assist any conservancy district in negotiating any\n\nagreements with other states and the United States, under the power\n\nconferred upon him by Section 8 of Article VI of the Constitution of\n\nOklahoma.
