Stat. tit. 82, § 82-603","heading":"Lands outside district, appraisement of - Bringing in","body":"additional owners.\n\nIf the appraisers find that lands or other property not embraced\n\nwithin the boundaries of the district will be necessary for or\n\naffected by, the proposed improvement, or should be included in the\n\ndistrict, they shall appraise the benefits and damages to such land\n\nand shall file notice, in the court of the appraisal which they have\n\nmade upon the lands beyond the boundaries of the district, and to\n\nland which in their opinion should be included in the district. The\n\nappraisers shall report to the court any lands which in their\n\nopinion should be eliminated from the district.\n\nProvided, that the court in determining the properties benefited\n\nby the proposed project or projects and in assessing the benefits\n\nderived therefrom, and in the matter of assessments for the\n\nconstruction and maintenance thereof shall upon proper petition and\n\nshowing, cause to be brought in and made parties to the action all\n\nproperty owners found to be benefited throughout the course of the\n\nstream below the points of diversion of water, or to the crossing of\n\nthe state line by any such stream, whether such property be\n\noriginally included in the petition or not, such action to be taken\n\nby the court after service of summons as required in civil actions\n\nupon such property owners of record.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"0641166d6da2c931cd4f1f561b4e5c4643f60f9435a7a5e77a84ccb5c53debf9","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-602","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-604"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
