Stat. tit. 82, § 82-608","heading":"Decree on appraisals","body":"If it appears to the satisfaction of the court after having\n\nheard and determined all said exceptions that the estimated cost to\n\nthe conservancy district of constructing the improvement\n\ncontemplated in the official plan is less than the benefits\n\nappraised, then the court shall approve and confirm said appraisers'\n\nreport as so modified and amended, and such findings and appraisals\n\nshall be final and incontestable as to property within the district.\n\nIn considering the appraisals made by the board of appraisers, the\n\ncourt shall take cognizance of the official plan and of the degree\n\nto which it is effective for the purposes of the district. In case\n\nthe court shall find that the estimated benefits appraised are less\n\nthan the total costs to the conservancy district of the execution of\n\nthe official plan, exclusive of interest or deferred payments, or\n\nthat the official plan is not suited to the requirements of the\n\ndistrict, it may at its discretion return said official plan to the\n\ndirectors of the district with the order for them to prepare new or\n\namended plans, or it may disorganize the district after having\n\nprovided for the payment of all expenditures by assessment prorated\n\nas provided herein, in the meantime holding the report of the\n\nappraisers in abeyance until such official plan has been prepared\n\nand refiled with the court clerk.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"afb560d4ea06345abc3ba2bed523cd3f70241fce08befd2480a257924eec6d3f","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-607","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-609"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
