Stat. tit. 82, § 82-640","heading":"Collection of assessments - Duties of county officers -","body":"Delinquents.\n\nThe county treasurer of each county in which lands of the\n\ndistrict lie, shall make daily report to the county clerk of the\n\ncounty of the sums collected by him, and it shall be the duty of the\n\ncounty clerk on the first day of each month to issue his warrant\n\npayable to the treasurer of the district for all sums in the hands\n\nof the treasurer of the county, according to his report as\n\naforesaid. Said county clerk shall, as soon as the county\n\ntreasurer's books report the collections through October 31st, each\n\nyear, make a report to the treasurer of said district of the sums\n\ncollected and of the assessments not collected as returned to him by\n\nthe treasurer of the county.\n\nAll assessments or taxes provided for in this act, remaining\n\nunpaid after they become due and collectable shall be delinquent and\n\nbear a penalty of one per cent (1%) per month from the date of\n\ndelinquency until paid, and be enforceable by tax sale as a part of\n\nthe ad valorem tax charge each year.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"9bdc307ac041e1aae86d536bbc1370b324085dafb3e845714011c9a45761d1bf","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-639","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-641"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
