Stat. tit. 82, § 82-642","heading":"Lien of assessments - Correcting irregular assessments -","body":"Deeds.\n\nAll conservancy assessments as provided for in this title,\n\ntogether with all costs in collecting the same, remaining unpaid\n\nafter they become due and collectable, shall constitute a lien on\n\nthe specific properties against which the said assessments have been\n\nlevied, said lien to be coequal with the lien of ad valorem taxes\n\nand all other taxes and all special assessments and shall be prior\n\nand superior to all other liens upon all the lands and other\n\nproperty against which such assessments shall be levied as is\n\nprovided in this title. Such assessments shall be collected in each\n\ncounty by the county treasurer of each county as and at the time ad\n\nvalorem taxes are collected, and any tax sale shall include all\n\ncharges, and such lien may be evidenced by any ad valorem tax sale\n\ncertificate including said charge substantially in the form required\n\nby law.\n\nIf any assessment made pursuant to the provisions of this title\n\nshall prove invalid, the board of directors shall subsequently amend\n\nall acts or proceedings promptly, and without delay remedy all\n\ndefects or irregularities as the case may require by making and\n\nproviding for the collection of new assessments or otherwise.\n\nUnless expressly declared to the contrary, no warranty deed or\n\nother deed made pursuant to a judicial sale shall warrant against\n\nany portion of any assessment or assessments levied hereunder except\n\ninstallments due before the date of such deed.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"3ea22700fb62ed086cee61047fd13e15b734634cff0e801400f236dc8ac44c7a","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-641","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-643"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
