Stat. tit. 82, § 82-646","heading":"Compensation of officials","body":"Each member of the board of directors and each appraiser shall\n\nreceive compensation allowed by the court and his necessary expenses\n\nfor the time actually employed in performing his duties. Before any\n\nduties devolve upon a county clerk or county treasurer under this\n\nact the board of directors of the district shall consult them and\n\nagree upon the salaries for the extra clerical force, if any,\n\nrequired in their respective offices to carry out the requirements\n\nof the law by reason of the establishment of said district, and the\n\nsaid board of directors shall provide for and pay said salaries to\n\nsaid clerk or clerks, while engaged on the work of the district,\n\nwhich clerk shall be selected and appointed by each of said county\n\nofficers for their respective offices.
