Stat. tit. 82, § 82-648","heading":"Necessity and amount of assessments in master conservancy","body":"districts.\n\nThe board of directors of any master conservancy district formed\n\nunder the provisions of this act may determine, by resolution, the\n\nnecessity and amount of assessments and the respective portions\n\nthereof to be paid by the component areas of said district, based\n\nupon the relative benefits anticipated for said component areas, and\n\nmay be adjusted by said board, from time to time, as necessary to\n\ninsure equitable allocation thereof. Funds secured in the manner\n\nherein provided shall be used to defray the expenses of initial\n\norganization, conducting project studies, investigations and payment\n\nof other expenses necessary to accomplish the objectives and\n\npurposes of the district.
